The participants of Granatkin Memorial recognized their opponents
The draw of XXV International youth football tournament in memory of the first FIFA vice-president Valentin Granatkin was conducted.
Group "A" will contain: Czech Republic, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Lithuania.
Group "B" will consist of Russia, Greece, Slovenia and Latvia.
Group "C" has Turkey, Finland, Iran, Kazakhstan.
And, finally, group "D" - Italy, Belgium, Belarus and Saint Petersburg.
According to the draw, first day of the tournament will be played following way:
12:00 Czech Republic – Ukraine,
14:15 Azerbaijan – Lithuania,
16:30 Greece – Slovenia.
At 18:30 the official opening ceremony will take place, at 19:00 Russia will play Latvia.

Valentine Granatkin Memorial:
16 teams will compete for the top prize.
From 5th to 13th of January 2013 St. Petersburg will host the XXV International Youth Football Tournament in memory of the first vice-president of FIFA V. Granatkin.
This time the tournament will be attended by 16 youth teams (players born in 1995 and younger): Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Greece, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Saint-Petersburg, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Finland, Czech Republic.
Matches will be held daily from 12:00 to 21:00 mostly on the pitch of Peterburgsky Sports and Concert Complex. Some of the matches, including the final day of the tournament, will be held in the Palace of sport games "Zenit", which will be also used for training.
The winner of the tournament will be revealed on Sunday, January 13th, after the final match. It will start on 19:00.
