Head coach of the team I. R. Iran Mehr Ali Dusti:

– Turkey had a few chances to win the game and we can firmly say that it remains one of the strongest and technically skilled national teams of that age in Europe. This was a difficult game for us and sending off of the Turkish player really helped us. It's necessary to note that our sportsmen are one year younger than the others. That's why they are weaker and worse physically built which was clear in the game. But the God was at our side. In spite of our mistakes we've managed to pass three lines of Turkish defense: midfielder, defense and the goalkeeper. And we won.

Assistant coach of the team Turkey Tamer Sivrikaya:

– Our aim was a fine football for the spectators. I congradulate team Iran with the victory, though we think the referees badly affected the game. While we played 11 to 11, we were on the equal level; we made oppression on Iranian gate. But as soon as we are in a minority, it became more difficul to resist. Yet, we had chances to score. We lost them and paid for it. The game was interesting for everyone: the spectators, the coaches, the specialists. We'll try our best to improve the results next time.
