About the tournament

12 Under 18 national teams (players born in 1994) will take part in XXIV International Youth Football Tournament In Memory of the First FIFA Vice-president Valentin Granatkin.

Regulations

The Format of the Tournament

Group Stage:

Games are held in four groups of three teams.

The ranking of the teams in the group phase round shall be made up basing on the overall points each team acquired (3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 point for a defeat) in those matches.

In case of equal amount of points with two or more teams the following criteria will be taken into account in the mentioned order:

- results of the matches between each other (number of points, superior goals difference, number of scored goals);

- superior goal difference from all matches;

- higher number of goals scored in all matches;

- drawing lots.

Play-Offs:

Teams that took first places in their groups will compete for spots from 1st to 4th. 

Teams that took second places in their groups will compete for spots from 5th to 8th.

Teams that took third places in their groups will compete for spots from 9th to 12th.

In case of a draw after the end of regular time in Play-Offs, the winners will be determined by penalty kicks immediately after the full time without any extra time.
