Comments:
Head coach of Belarus' team Mikheyev Valentine:
-We know Lithuanian team and its coach for a long time, often holding friendly matches. Today, we have shown slow game because of the synthetic football field – it is not entirely familiar for us. Nevertheless, I believe that my players have coped with the problem. Yes, our team already has players who have grown over the level of youth this team. For example Pavel Savitskiy plays for the youth team U-21. However, he is happy to come and to play with us. This Valentin Granatkin Memorail tournament sets certain level of football. Today Pavel Savitskiy has not scored penalty. So, even Pavel has a long way to go!
Head coach of Lithuania team Vingilis Antanas:
-Well, I am satisfied with the play of my team. It is very hard to play two days in a row, not having sufficient time to recover. That is why, at the facility before the match, I recommend my players to act on the field "under the second number" – they were waiting wait for the chance to counterattack. Players have followed all my instructions, but they just didn't have enough physical force.
