Comments:

Head coach of Russia - Yuriy Smolyaninov:
- We are very thankful for the St.Petersburgs spectators. They made our team go forward. Such matches are very emotional and nervous, I cant remind the game, when we couldnt transfer so many moments into the goal. I do not blame any of my players. May be today the incredible desire to score prevent us from victory. So, it means tomorrow on the training we will work on our shots, attacks, even we train it regularly. But the train and the game are two different things. Football is football no goals, no victory.

Head coach of Belarus - Yuriy Khamko:
- Im happy to be for the first time on such representative tournament. I took this team only one month ago and I chose players for these matches practically blindly. The aim for this match was to play second number, from defence, using counterattacks. It turned out this certain way. The Russian team had overwhelming advantage. But, we also had our 2-3 moments for scoring. I thank all my players for their character in the game. As a conclusion I can say that we earned the point, but Russia lost.
