Surprise for the guests

This year in the hall of Peterburgsky SCC was established an exhibition where the guests could find many old photos of previous tournaments, newspaper articles about them starting from1981, works of the participants of the contest «The Mascot» and some other archive documentation. The exhibition was prepared with the help of the press-service of the National Russian Library, with the support of The Central State Archive of Cinema, Photographic, and Phonographic Document in St.-Petersburg using the materials of the famous sport journalist Yuri Brzhezhinsky. Football fans have a chance to be pictured with the main prize of the tournament – the beautiful Cup. In the first day the luckiest guests could take an autograph of the participant and the top-scorer of the VII International Youth Tournament in Memory of the First FIFA vice-president Valentin Granatkin, the Youth (U-19) European champion-1988, the champion of the USSR and the owner of the USSR cup-1990, the top-scorer of the World Championship-1994 Oleg Salenko.
